Jennifer Mehalko

Jennifer MehalkoJennifer has been working as an interior designer for over 10 years and has always used some form of fitness as an outlet to get through the challenges of her career.  She never imagined she could be more passionate about anything as much as design until she had a love affair with a spin bike in her very first class.  This love affair, along with being inspired by so many fabulous instructors and fellow students, is really what aspired her to teach.  Jennifer received her spin certification in 2008 with Mad Dogg Athletics in San Diego and has continued to upgrade her certification through their continued education program.  Jennifer is also a certified ashtanga yoga instructor and her resume includes workshops focusing on yoga for athletes, prenatal yoga, aromatherapy and functional training and core.

After having the opportunity to travel and live all over North America, Scandinavia and Europe with her husband, Jennifer has made the observation that no matter where you lace up your sneakers, hop on a bike, pick up those weights, or roll out your yoga mat, we are all eternally  our own teachers.  However, it takes inspiration, motivation and leadership from your instructor to make it a memorable journey.  Her goal is to make every individual feel like they have taken something good and left a little something bad behind; letting go of  your limitations, getting out of your comfort zone and embracing the challenge with an open mind and an open heart.

Jennifer's motto: "peace, love, strong legs and a little sweat"

Dulcie Timmons

Dulcie grew up playing soccer, volleyball, and competing in track and field.  She has run many half-marathons and 10 km races as well as completing a marathon. In college, she competed in cross-country running and focused on endurance and becoming a faster runner. After developing sciatica, she could no longer compete nor run due to the severity of the injury so she took up cycling with its low impact benefits. It didn’t take long for Dulcie to splurge on her first road bike; spending as much time as possible clipped in and riding down the highway.  This passion led to the idea of becoming an Indoor Cycling Instructor.  Dulcie has the following certifications: C.O.R.E Cycling Certification, AFLCA and TRX Certification.  She enjoys instructing spin classes because of its fun factor, intensity and how exhilirating the experience is.

Dulcie is pursuing a degree in Human Resources and Labour Relations and calls Red Deer home though she moved frequently.  She loves the city lifestyle of Calgary with all of its amazing opportunities. She is thrilled to be part of the Peloton Cycling team and is excited to get to know her riders in Peloton's beautiful studio.
